Welcome to ZamLex. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions, governed under applicable Zambian law, including the Companies Act No. 10 of 2017, Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021, and the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Acts of 2021.
1. Platform Use
You must be 18 years or older to use ZamLex. You agree to use the platform solely for lawful legal support, research, and document drafting purposes. Misuse, including attempts to generate fraudulent or misleading documents, is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
ZamLex provides AI-generated legal drafts and research insights. These outputs are for informational and drafting assistance purposes only and do not constitute formal legal advice. Users are responsible for reviewing and validating all content before use.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. ZamLex is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your actions or negligence.
4. Data Privacy
We comply with the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021. Your information is securely stored and never sold or rented. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data usage and retention.
5. Intellectual Property
All code, templates, interface designs, and documentation on ZamLex are the intellectual property of ZamLex. You may use generated content for personal or professional use but may not resell or redistribute platform components.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Attempts to disrupt our services, manipulate the AI, inject malware, or impersonate others will result in immediate termination. Such violations may be reported to the Zambia Cyber Security Agency.
7. Legal Submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of any legal filings submitted through ZamLex. False declarations may carry legal consequences under Zambian law.
8. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in activity deemed abusive, unlawful, or harmful to other users.
9. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Major changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
